Thank you for visiting my baking journal! My name is Natasha, and I love baking sourdough bread because the process of mixing water, salt and flour magically becomes this beautiful, tasty loaf of bread.

Baking is something I enjoy working on every day. Every day I have a fresh start and a tasty result. The process is very satisfying, and keeps my soul very happy. Working with the sourdough especially is very therapeutic to me. I learned that sharing my knowledge and skills with others brings my own baking to another level. So I created this baking journal to help others with basic information on sourdough.

In this journal there are basic techniques, recipes, and taking care of the starter. I am inviting you to join me in this journey and become one of the baking at home enthusiasts! I hope you’ll learn something new that will improve your skills.
